Do you manage my domain's DNS records (A, MX, TXT)?

Accepted Answer

No. We only register the domain. From the panel you change the nameservers to point to your hosting (Hostealo VPS, web hosting) or an external service (free Cloudflare DNS, dnsmadeeasy). At that destination you manage A, AAAA, MX, TXT, CNAME and other records.

Do you include domain email (info@mycompany.com)?

Accepted Answer

Not with the domain alone. If you want professional email with your domain, get our web hosting which includes real mailboxes with IMAP/SMTP/POP (no forwarding), or use an external service (Google Workspace, Zoho Mail).

Free WHOIS privacy?

Not yet. Registrant data is public per ICANN unless the TLD supports privacy and you actively enable it. For .es the WHOIS lookup doesn't expose personal data by Red.es policy. For .com and most gTLDs the data does appear.

How long does it take for my domain to activate?

Accepted Answer

Registration is instant if you pay with card, PayPal or crypto. Bank transfer requires manual confirmation (usually 1-2 business days). Nameservers take from minutes to a few hours to propagate depending on DNS root TTL.

Question 6

How do I transfer a domain from another registrar to Hostealo?

Accepted Answer

You need the auth/EPP code your current registrar provides. Start the transfer from our panel, confirm in the automated email that arrives, and we move it. The cost is the `transfer_price` shown in the catalog. For most TLDs the transfer includes an additional year of renewal.

What happens when my domain renews?

Accepted Answer

We warn you 30 days in advance by email. If you have a payment method configured in the panel, it renews automatically at the price shown at that moment (renewal price = registration price, no surprise increases). If you don't renew, it enters the ICANN grace period (~30 days) during which you can recover it. After that, it expires and returns to the pool.

Do you have premium domains?

Some yes. When the search returns `premium: true` it means the initial registration price is higher (set by the registry, not us). Subsequent renewals return to the TLD's standard price. Before buying we show you the premium price clearly.

No commitment?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every year you pay the renewal or let it expire. No long contracts or penalties for not renewing. You can transfer the domain to another registrar after the 60 ICANN-mandated days from initial registration (universal rule, not ours).
