The most common reference in Madrid is AMD Ryzen 9 9950X (Zen 5, 16 cores / 32 threads, up to 5.7 GHz boost) with DDR5 and NVMe Gen4, but the catalog includes other configurations depending on available stock. Each row in the stock table shows the specific CPU, RAM, storage and GPU if any. For custom configurations outside catalog (more CPU, specific GPUs, dedicated racks) we quote on demand with a setup fee. ### Is it real bare-metal or a big VPS in disguise? Pure bare-metal. Physical cores, physical RAM, physical NVMe, no virtualization layer between you and the hardware. Full IPMI access (power on/off/reset, virtual ISO mount, HTML5 iKVM console). If you want to virtualize inside (Proxmox, ESXi, custom KVM) you manage that yourself. ### Can I run Proxmox, ESXi or any hypervisor? Yes, no hypervisor or OS restrictions. Upload the Proxmox VE, VMware ESXi, XCP-ng, Hyper-V or any Linux/BSD distribution ISO from IPMI and install it. AMD-V enabled at BIOS level. Some customers run clusters of 50-100 VMs on a single bare-metal of ours. ### Do I have IPMI/iKVM access to the server without opening a ticket? Yes in Madrid, Eygelshoven and New York: our own panel with power cycle (on/off/reset), virtual ISO mount, HTML5 iKVM console and traffic stats, without asking support. In Mainhausen (Germany) the virtual console isn't exposed by the upstream, but the rest of the panel operations stay available. ### How many IPs are included? What does adding a /29 or /28 cost? 1 dedicated IPv4 included at no cost. Additional IPs up to /28 (16 IPs) with technical use justification and a monthly per-IP fee. If you need a /24 we can assign one from our blocks; if you already have your own /24 and your own ASN we can announce it behind our scrubbing as [IP Transit with Anti-DDoS](https://hostealo.com/services/anti-ddos). ### Do you do rDNS for email sending? Yes, but it's a manual process with verification. Request it by ticket stating the intended use (transactional, newsletter, etc.), and once we validate the customer and domain data, we configure each IP's reverse DNS. After approval the change propagates in a few minutes. We do this verification to keep the IP block reputation clean and prevent third parties from using our IPs for spam. ### Does it support IPv6 or your own BGP (IP Transit)? Native IPv6 isn't available yet in any product (deployment on the roadmap). Own BGP yes: we have an [IP Transit with Anti-DDoS](https://hostealo.com/services/anti-ddos) product for customers with their own AS and /24 block who need to announce them behind our scrubbing. ### Is the network 1 Gbps or 10 Gbps by default? Depends on the plan: each server's stock-table card shows it. By default standard servers ship at 1 Gbps symmetric. If you need 10 Gbps unmetered (or more) we offer it as a contractable upgrade. We can provision up to 100 Gbps port speed if the case justifies it. For sustained workloads (CDN, streaming, 24/7 file delivery) we coordinate directly to size the connection properly. ### What does an hour of remote hands cost? Basic tasks included at no cost: physical reboot, network cable swap, status LED visual check, hard reset. Interventions that require technician time (additional hardware install, deep troubleshooting, disk handling) quoted on request. Madrid is where we have the fastest response since that's our operational base. ### What happens if the server's hardware physically fails? We start the replacement as soon as we detect it. We try to keep stock of common spares (CPU, RAM, NVMe) in Madrid; if the exact part isn't available the timeline extends and we tell you the ETA as soon as we have it. Downtime compensation follows the SLA rules: 2 extra service days per 12 consecutive hours of unplanned downtime, requested by ticket within 7 days. ### Are there setup, install or IP costs in catalog plans? In standard catalog configurations there's no setup, install or IP cost: the published monthly price is the final one. If you request custom hardware or configuration (CPU/RAM outside catalog, GPUs, dedicated racks, special OSes) a setup fee may apply, quoted upfront before acceptance. VAT is only added if your billing country requires it and you don't have an EU intra-community VAT ID. ### Do you accept crypto and can I cancel anytime?
